## Overview
QZ Test brings exam practice, learning resources, and performance tracking into a single mobile experience. It supports students preparing for school exams, SSC, HSC, university admission, and other competitive examinations. The app includes subject-based exams, question banks, explanations, bookmarks, exam history, leaderboards, and tools to help students build consistent study habits. My design focus was to make these features accessible through a clear mobile interface, helping students move from daily practice to reviewing their performance.
## Challenge
Students need more than access to questions. They also need a convenient way to practice, understand mistakes, and stay consistent with their preparation.
- Organizing exam features within a limited mobile screen.
- Making subjects and practice options easy to discover.
- Keeping the exam-taking experience focused and clear.
- Helping students review incorrect answers and saved questions.
- Presenting scores, progress, and rankings in an understandable way.
- Creating consistent navigation across the app.
## Goals
The main goals were to create a practical, student-friendly mobile learning experience.
- Make exam preparation accessible on mobile devices.
- Simplify access to subjects, question banks, and mock tests.
- Create a focused interface for answering exam questions.
- Help students revisit mistakes and important questions.
- Make exam results and progress easier to review.
- Encourage regular practice through streaks, points, and leaderboards.
## Target audience
- **School Students**: Learners in Classes 6–9 who want to build exam habits and strengthen their understanding of academic subjects.
- **SSC and HSC Students**: Students preparing for board examinations through subject-based practice, model tests, and question banks.
- **University Admission Candidates**: Students preparing for university, GST, medical, and engineering admission tests.
- **Competitive Exam Candidates**: Learners who want to practice questions, evaluate their preparation, and identify areas that need improvement.
## Design approach
- 01 **Mobile-First Structure**: Organize the app around the tasks students perform most often, including finding exams, practicing questions, and reviewing results.
- 02 **Clear Navigation**: Group related features into understandable sections so students can move between practice, saved questions, history, and progress.
- 03 **Focused Exam Experience**: Keep question content, answer options, and exam-related information clearly organized to support concentration.
- 04 **Learning Through Review**: Make incorrect answers, explanations, and bookmarked questions easier to revisit.
- 05 **Progress and Motivation**: Present performance information and competitive features in a way that helps students understand their progress and maintain study consistency.
